School Gardens

Backyard Food Gardens aims to help schools, communities, housing developments, restaurants, nonprofits, and businesses grow their own food. Our automated irrigation systems lower the time and responsibility required for fruit and vegetable cultivation, meaning that the garden takes care of itself, and you get to enjoy it and eat it. Growing food is a great activity for kids! We do everything from the garden installation itself, to teaching classes, developing curriculum and training staff. School gardens provide teachers with creative, hands-on learning activities that are fun, dynamic, and educational.
